LEHNEN
Austrian-American band Lehnen has spent almost two decades carving out a distinct space in the post-rock and ambient scene, blending atmospheric textures with neo-classical influences to create deeply emotive soundscapes. With more than 200 live performances across Europe and the USA, Lehnen has established themselves as a captivating force on stage, bringing their dynamic, cinematic sound to a diverse international audience.

Formed with a core focus on immersive and narrative-driven music, Lehnen's journey has seen several lineup changes that have enriched their sound. After long-time guitarist Martin Konvicka left the band in 2020, Tim Primbs stepped in to take over guitar duties. In 2022, the band's sound expanded further with the addition of a third guitarist, Jan Slonski, bringing a new depth to both their live and studio recordings.
Despite his departure, Konvicka returned to contribute to their upcoming album Negative Space: Gradients, blending his distinctive style with the band's evolved sound.

Lehnen’s music is as emotionally resonant as it is sonically expansive, drawing listeners into lush, layered compositions that explore themes of space, distance, and human connection. With several acclaimed releases, including their recent work Negative Space, the band has gained recognition for their ability to craft albums that feel like journeys through sound.
On October 3rd, 2024, Lehnen will release their highly anticipated album Negative Space: Gradients. A reimagining of their previous work Negative Space, this new project delves into ambient and neo-classical soundscapes, offering a fresh interpretation of the original material.
Tracks have been carefully deconstructed, reinterpreted,
and enhanced with atmospheric layers, creating a sonic experience that is both introspective and expansive.
The album will be available for streaming through Interstellar Pulse (Vienna) and as a limited-edition cassette via Healing Sound Propagandist (Indianapolis).

Fans of experimental soundscapes and deep emotional resonance can look forward to this unique reinterpretation of Negative Space.
